MELISSA: Ballet/contemporary/lyrical/jazz. Melissa has danced competitively for six years at SCS, Huntington Beach Dance Team, where she took the title of dance champ 5 years in row. She was under the professional teaching of Tim Stevenson, Twitch (from So You Think You Can Dance), and was blessed to take a master class by Mia Michaels. Her senior year of high school she came over to our studio, BCS, for her last year of competing and since has been teaching all ages.
ASHLEY: Ashley began her dance training under Joffrey and Houston Ballet Principals at Orange County Dance Center at age 3. She quickly fell in love with ballet and soon after added tap, jazz and contemporary classes to her schedule. Her choreography credits include Puttin on Productions, Theatre 31, Good Day LA, OC Fair and Imagination Celebration to name a few. Ashley teaches our Micro Mini and Mini competition teams and since joining the STARS family in 2009, has taken home the National title every year.

BAILEY: Bailey started dancing at the young age of 2 years old at Houston dance studio in Wapakoneta, Ohio. She began competing at age 8. At 13 years old she got the opportunity to move to California and be a part of her uncle's studio, Dance Emotion. It was there that she became a student teacher and had her own classes at age 14. The hard work paid off when she was accepted to Orange County High School for the Arts. She developed much of her hip hop style when she was invited to train with the hip hop company Mavyn Entertainment. Bailey has been teaching at Stars studios since 2008. She continues to take classes at various studios and loves teaching at Beach Cities Stars.
MICHELE: Michele has been teaching dance for over 16 years. She is a former San Francisco 49ers Cheerleader and also a Los Angeles Laker Girl. Michele has also taken her passion for dance and won scholarships in the Miss California pageant. She is a Cal State Long Beach graduate, where she also studied in the dance program. She has been an award winning choreographer, including NFL halftime shows, and national competition numbers. Michele's favorite part of being a dance teacher is watching the growth of her students! She has been with our studio 3 years and counting!
