STARS Dancers... Star Students!

On Friday, January 27, 2012, three of the Beach Cities Stars dancers were honored for their 1st trimester academic achievement during a ceremony at their school, Talbert Middle School, in Huntington Beach. Seventh grader, Jared Velazquez, received a silver level honor card for earning a 3.0-3.4 G.P.A. Sixth graders, Michael Piepmeyer and Mariah Zermeno, each received a black level honor card for earning a 4.0 G.P.A. In addition to the cards, which will give them special privileges on campus, the students received pins, and enjoyed a special lunch with their parents. These three stars prove that they can shine both on and off the dance floor!

Studio Rentals

We went out our studio people in need of a large space. For birthday parties, salsa socials, ballroom, etc, the possibilities are endless! (no alcohol allowed for safety purposes)

Large Room: $75/hr

Small Room: $40/hr

Security deposit of $300 due a week prior to rental

A Little about what we do!

At Beach Cities Dance Studio we are always hustling and bustling! We have dance classes 5 days a week and all of a different genre. We like to switch it up to keep the kids excited!

We are a competition dance studio and we are part of the Stars National Dance Program. This means that all year our competition dance classes work on routines that will be used in competitions typically in April and June. Not all of our classes are competition classes though, we do offer open classes for students to learn how to dance, and perfect what they already know. Although, the Stars competitions are a great place for the students to learn to compete, have good sportsmanship, and perform in front of crowds.

We also participate in outside competitions such as Showstoppers, KAR, and things of that nature. Also we perform at the Orange County Fair, city fairs and other performances. We like our dancers to get as much practice as possible, because practice makes perfect!!

Here at Beach Cities Dance Studio we are like a family. I, Marilyn Seller, am not only the owner but I am a lot like a mother/grandmother to a lot of these children. I make sure that this is a fun place for kids to come and better themselves as dancer. I personally hope you enjoy our blog and hope some of you stop in for TWO weeks FREE dance classes!!! ♥
